And another for today is this idiot

This guy calls himself Peter Simon and that is all I know about him. His profile looked dubious right from the start.  I didn't really find out much about this guy apart from his name.  I also didn't record the information I got so I now can't remember any of it all.  I apologise.  I do know that I blocked him super quickly because he was obviously fake and using another guy's images.

My first scammer for today is this guy

And here is his backstory

• He is called Steve Anderson
• He is 46 years old
• He is from LA, California
• He is divorced with a son called Kelly who goes to school in Turkey, who is 13 almost 14
• He is a US military man deployed to Syria

This guy is using the pictures of real soldier Stephen Good.  This guy used all the usual techniques to try to brainwash me into loving him quickly although he did not chat constantly. I got fed up with where this was all going so I challenged him about the use of the photos and asked him why he was catfishing.  He said that his name was really Anderson Steve Good.  No no no. He reckoned all the other 'fakes' were being investigated.  Just no. He was so fake and he got blocked. Oh and the child he claims to be his own has had his photos stolen too because I have seen him as the son of more than    one different scammer.

And the next one for today is this guy

And this is his backstory

• His name is Chandler Howard
• He is a US soldier peacekeeping in Afghanistan

I recognised the photos that this guy has nicked to use.  They are of a genuine US soldier called Stephen Good.  I challenged this guy really early on in our conversation and he came out with a great big long explanation where he claims it is the work of ISIS, tarnishing the good name of US army soldiers. This guy is a total scream.  He just has lots of screenshots of the character Captain Jack Sparrow and reckons that he is the real Johnny Depp.  He reckons that he comes from Kentucky, USA.  I include these screenshots for you to enjoy of our conversation. They really speak for themselves.

• He is in Paris, working doing 'spacial' duty as a medical doctor who deals with surgery

This guy was so clearly fake that I could not put up with more.  His patter was basic and rude so I blocked him.

This same account also chatted to a friend of mine and I include some of the screenshots of the conversation they had.  I am sure that when you read them you will see that the account is fake.  There were also time delays which were perhaps when he was having to look for information on the internet about where he was situated.

Another one for today is this charmer

This guy is using the photos of a real Captain who sails with Maersk called Thomas Lindegaard Madsen, from Denmark.   And this is his backstory

• His name is Jeffery Williams
• He is from the UK
• He is 40
• He says he is a marine engineer
• He has a son

I had this scammer sussed out right from the get go here.  When he told me he is a marine engineer I pounced on him.  I checked his picture out on his profile where he is clearly wearing a uniform of some kind. The picture shows the guy he has chosen to steal photos from sailing as a Captain not a marine engineer.  It is UK deck officers uniform of the rank of Captain - 4 gold braids clearly visible for this rank (an engineer has epaulettes with purple braid on them as well as gold).  He really didn't know much about being a marine engineer at all and I blocked him and reported him too.  Here are the screenshots of our conversation for you to read and enjoy. And the first one for today is this guy

  This is his backstory

• His name is Richard Clinton
• He has a son

After that same old spiel about and I quote, "I am searching for a matured, God fearing, caring, trusted and honest lady who will be my wife and a mother to my son" I lost interest.  I really could not be bothered with him at all.  This comment has been heard so many times now that I know the person who utters those words will be a fake.

And having just re-read these screenshots I remembered why I blocked him and perhaps you can see it too?  What an absolute utter lot of nonsense.  Even if his beliefs are true (which is his right) it is the poor English I really object to for a native American.

Another for today is this one

This account is another impersonation of the the real Dr Fernando Pinto Gomes - Brazilian Neuroscientist (the real one is verified with a tick on Instagram so any other claiming to be him is not him)

Please take time to read his description of himself.  He describes himself as a Neurological Surgeon specialising in brain, spine and peripheral nerves.  All sounds reasonable.  Then he describes himself as a thoracic surgeon for over 20 years - getting a little cocky here and over egging himself.  A thoracic surgeon specialises in the chest area.  Not what a Neurologist does.

This is the backstory he used with me

• He is Dr Fernando Pinto
• He had a son aged 8 called Duncan who goes to boarding school in Chicago
• He lost his wife to "the cold hand of death on her way to work in a car accident" 3 years ago

He opened with the usual platitudes about my beauty and my smile and so we made the basic introductions.  He started to waffle on with similar cut and paste posts about his like and dislikes in life, in love and with his woman.  At this point he started talking about honesty and how important it was to him.  I could not sit quietly and listen to him anymore and I asked him how honest it was to steal someone else's pictures and pass them off as himself.  He came out with a lot of rubbish about how he was the genuine article.  Clearly he isn't , he doesn't have the verified tick.

And there is no backstory with this guy. Within a couple of hello comments and nice to meet yous I got sent this picture below.  Please note the name badge of the soldier says Evans and not Sadler.  The screenshot shows me questioning him. His answer was that his full name was Robert Sadler Evans.  I blocked him right away.  That is a classic scammer excuse and I wasn't up for any of his rubbish at all.

Be very wary of all soldiers on Instagram, many of them are fakes and the name badge should be the first thing you check out along with their instagram name.  If something isn't right then it isn't right and avoid like the plague.  The more clever scammers will make sure their user name or given name matches.  This is when it pays to really do an image search and see if they crop up elsewhere on the internet.  I have seen real instagram accounts appear of the real person in the photo; I have seen the photo pop up on scam warning websites and I have seen real facebook pages appear of the real person not the fake.  Do your research - it really does pay.

And the last one for today is this pleasant guy

I haven't got his backstory written down I am afraid because I just got so fed up of him spouting all the same usual nonsense about his likes and dislikes and what he wants in a perfect relationship with a woman.  He just listed off a reel of attributes like he was looking for a new car. On hangouts he is called Timothy Evans.  I blocked him quickly by saying that we just weren't compatible and that he would spoil all my fun with my friends.  I include screenshots so that you too can experience the charm of the guy and his patter.

I apologise most profusely for the bad grammar of my own and terrible spellings.  I have a habit of not reading my messages and sending too early when I am angry.

And here is his backstory

• From the USA
• He is a marine engineer and works with BP oil and gas in exploration and production
• He is working in Germany for an offshore contract
• He is a widower and his wife died in childbirth
• He has one child of 15 called Dan - apparently the lack of a mother is causing him to not be able to concentrate very well in school

This guy made the basic introductions on Instagram and then we moved onto hangouts where his name was Sebastian Muro.  Once he told me that he was looking for a mother for his son I decided to end it.  I was sick of talking to him.
