Please be aware that if you are approached by anyone using the photos of this guy, you are definitely being approached from a fake account being manned by scammers.
This is the real guy called Koke Yepes and his official Instagram account @kokeyepes. If another guy using this guy's images approaches you using any other Instagram account then you know it is fake, regardless of what the scammer tells you. If you look at his official Instagram account then you will also see that he is very happily married and posts about his wife and his relationship all the time. He really is not out scouting the internet for you to have a romance with you.
Please never send any cash, cards or tech to anyone who befriends you on the internet. They are sure to be scammers out to steal your money and your self-esteem. Ladies we are the ones who have the power to change the scamming culture. Become educated, say no, report and block anyone who you think is fake. Do your research here on my blog and on my Instagram account @insta_scammers2018. Minimum research is trying a reverse image search or ask for a video chat. The answer is no? It's a scammer. Say no, report and block.

DeleteYeah and I would bet that they are stolen from the real man and that the voice recording is an African voice. The real man is happily married with two children so he isn't messaging looking for love. Please report and block the fake you are talking to.

DeleteIt may well be different scammers. I am not sure how aware you are to the problem of scammers using this man as a face for their fake accounta but there are thousands of them using his images, not just one.

ReplyDeleteThere a at least 10 instragram accounts impersonating Koke Yepes. I encountered a few. Using his pictures. I put together a scammer profile. A tragic past, wife died giving birth to his child, wife died driving home from work, parents assinated, they are all single in one tragic way or another, child either in boarding school while they are out of country for some peace mission, if they are not some sort of militant,which by the way is most popular, they also pose as MFS doctors without borders. They pose as successful men looking for romance. They say all the right things for all the wrong reasons. Most of these scammers come from Nigeria, or African country. Instragram only gives 3 options when reporting what you believe is a fake account. 1. If YOU are the person being impersonated. 2. If SOMEONE YOU KNOW is being impersonated and 3. If the person being impersonated is a CELEBRITY OR FAMOUS PERSON. None of these options fit the reason why I was reporting a fraudulent account, therefore, scam artist hot away with it. Instragram should include another option as to why reporting a bogus account. I tried reporting several accounts impersonating Koke Yepes that I KNEW was fraudulent, but unfortunately I unless it's me or a celebrity/famous person or any of the 3 reasons why Instagram asked, then Instagram turns its head and allows foreign predators to scam the United States out of millions of dollars.

One man is contacted me on my instagram profile called Willow Yepes Mason in september last year and started to being friend. He told me he is sigle parents and he has two kids. His wife died in a short illness. His parents died when he was a child. We started to write on hangouts . He told me he is a soldier and in october started deploytment in South Afrika and later Afganistan. He wanted to come over to my coutntry and marry me. After four monts whe we writing he wanted to help him to get out from war and wanted from me nearly 13 000 USD to help him get out from war. I didnt believe him and I started to search him on internet.

ReplyDeleteA man with Instagram: Moore.Koke contacted me. All comments here seem similar to what he told me... the kids, the wife, being in Afganistan... I google him and came to this page to warn other women to be aware. He seems fake when he repeats always the same story about his children and him growing up without parents. He didn't ask for money but wanted to come to Mexico as a retirement and many other lies. His answers seem fake as if things I asked had just being google in that moment. I reported this on Instagram and blocked him. Don't know if something else can be done.

ReplyDeleteHe's using the name Thomas William at his Messenger then we went to Hangouts his name there is Thamos William after a few days his Messenger deactivated. January 11 when he Friend Request me since we have 1 mutual friend I accepted his request. Until now we're texting each other but he didn't know that I knew that he's a great Scammer! I just dance only with his music😄. He said he's on vacation for 3 months & He wants to visit my country Philippines.. Yesterday he said he's working on some clearance to different departments for his vacation.. He even sent me the fake army ID his name there is Thomas Yepes Williams. He said he deployed in Yemen with 2 years contract.. Since the day 1 we chat I always telling him about the Scammers I sent him some photos of Scammers using good looking army, marine , navy etc.. Tried to hooked me up I guess but I always harsh with him.. By 3:00 pm here he'll texting me again, he just said hey baby, wyd? Had your lunch? So I replied him so sweet.. Once he ask money from me the block mode is ready to click!!😂😀

The scammer has faked a video call by stealing a video from the real guy and playing that whilst on the video call. Report and block this scammer.
DeleteSomeone with his pics is going by William John Chelsey on tinder. And he will have his "commander and colleague" text as well. He asked for $285 for internet didn't send it cause I Google image searched his pics
