If you are approached online on any platform by an account using these images be warned, the account is fake and it is manned by scammers.
The real guy here is Luis Eduardo Oliveira, a genuine Doctor.
Please do not approach the real man from the photos. Remember he is scammed as much as you are, if not more so and is aware of the issue. He is powerless to stop the scammers from doing what they do using his images. YOU, however, do have the power to stop this scamming. If YOU stop believing the lies and stop sending the scammers what they ask YOU for then they would stop doing it because their sources would dry up. If YOU send them money, cards or tech YOU are enabling them to continue and they will carry on targeting women like YOU. Ladies it is up to us to stop these boys and men from scamming us. Remember that to them YOU are a client and they will say anything to keep YOU handing them what they ask YOU for. Block and report any of the accounts if in doubt.

I said no and block him

DeleteHe caught me on plenty of fish app. He went by kyle owen. Said he is neurosurgeon on a military contract in yemen. Found out the truth just few days ago. Told me he loved me after the third day of talking and wanted to marry me and have kids with me.
DeleteHe hit me up on TickTock. Had video on there which made it seen believable. Asked me to chat on google hangouts. Told me he is a doctor from Yemen working for the UN had two kids in a boarding school in California and his wife had died five years ago. Took him two days to ask for money. Said he needed it to pay the UN to get out of Yemen. I asked him to do a video chat. He played a video of him with no sound. It was obvious it wasn't really him but just a video but for a second I thought it was.

I haven't ever been scammed or had anyone try to like this before but my first red flag should have been when he asked if I have ever talked to anyone from the military or a doctor on social media.
Also his story is so far fetched and there are gaps that I found myself filling in for him because I wanted to believe him at first. It's interesting how our minds do that.

He called himself George Michael HaHa.He said that he is an American military surgeon and is currently working in Afghanistan.When I realized that they want money and everything is a fraud, I refused to forward the money and said that I would contact the police.They continue to call me from different American numbers but I dont answer.Only today I checked it using photo which I received on my phone and found out that scammers use a photo of a Brazilian guy for their fraud...It would be very funny if it weren’t so sad...Thanks you guys for this important information!

I met this man as Lucas Leo on Instagram. the profile is no longer active. he is 34 years old, lives in Dayton Ohio and currently works in Cairo as an orthopedic surgeon. he has a 10 year old daughter named Berry. he wanted steam cards and money from me. He also told me early on that he loves me and would like to marry. yes of course it's nice to have this attention and I liked to hear these words but I didn't really believe it. the pictures were also skeptical but somewhere I believed him. I sent him money ... and I feel totally stupid because I somehow knew it was a scammer but I haven't found any evidence until today. I've been writing to him about the Telegram app since the end of March and I've confronted him with the Real Doctor. he has denied everything and sees himself as a victim (Hahahaha)

Thank you for writing so honestly about your experiences. I am sorry that you have been tricked into sending him money. As to the scammer being a victim - rubbish. You are the victim as is the real doctor. What you do now is cease all contact immediately and you report and block the account everywhere you were chatting. I would suggest that you keep alert for new requests on the apps you used as it could be the same scammer reinventing himself.

ReplyDeleteI had this scammer message me on Instagram a week ago under the name Mark Samson. He said he was a cardiologist specialist working in Lebanon under a UN contract. He said he had 1 daughter who is at a boarding school in Florida. He said he is originally from America but later changed his story to he is Brazilian but been living in America for a while. He never asked me for money but did declare he loved me after 3 days. As a nurse myself I was interested to see if I could spark up a conversation about cardiology and I used a few medical jargons. He always diverted the conversation and changed it to how much he wanted me and loves me. He even said he would fly out to see me, again only after 3 days. It wasn't until he sent me photos of him that I put them through a pic finder app and saw he was a catfish, just like I had thought the whole time.

He told about himself - a surgeon from America, now in Afghanistan. His parents died in a car accident when he was a child, raised by his grandmother, who died when he entered to study as a doctor. His girlfriend cheated on him for two years with his friend. From all sides he described himself positively, tried to be romantic. Today I decided to look for these photos on the Internet and found) I would not send him any money, but I understand that I could get used to this communication and it would be hard later. It's good that I found out everything in a day. Beware girls.

DeleteIt took me 2-3 days to realize he was a scammer. He didn't even get a chance to ask for money. I used google lens to check his pics. Its hard,still. Lets admit,He is very attractive and made sad story with convincing personality.
He is @garthmforall on Wattpad. Said he was a doctor who worked for W.H.O. in Afghanistan, then terminated his contract, needed money to settle his taxes, and needed money for food and internet and to settle his taxes, yet then he said he had to come back here to the states and pay them. SCAM!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI stupidly sent him money after we started talking in August of 2020 and now don't have anything for my college funds. He, I believe, is also scamming another woman and told me she needs to send me money that will go through him to pay for her sister to come to the U.S. She has sent large sums through me before, and is supposed to be sending another one soon. If she does, I'm calling my bank and having them send it right back. Not about to assist an a-whole in scamming another poor person!
Said he wanted to marry me and have kids and that be bought a house in New Haven, CT before he came to Afghanistan and couldn't complete his two year contract because of the stress and just wanted to go home. Said he was originally from Belgium, parents dead, but was a LNG American citizen at 17 and became a doctor (did not seem like he went to a four year university in his story).
For future people, GOOGLE SEARCH IMAGES THESE SCAMMERS SEND YOU. Wish I had thought to do that earlier.
