And there is no need for any backstory with this one. A reverse image search was fruitful and lead me to find the real guy in the images.
And that screenshot tells me all I need to know that the account is fake and the person behind it is a fake. Here are some screenshots of the conversation I had with the scammer when I decided to ask him about his wife. I am sure that you can see from his responses that he really is not the Daniel Dailey. I mean just look at the appalling English: the grammar and the choice of words. Read it out loud and you can just about hear an African voice speaking them.
