If you are approached by any accounts using these photos be aware that they are fake.
The real guy here is model Tom Ernsting who is open and honest about his homosexuality. He really is not going to be chatting to you romantically ladies.
He has had his images used many, many times to scam on all internet platforms.
Please never send any money, cards or tech to anyone online using these or any other pictures. They ask for this stuff means they are fake. Women this scamming will only stop when we empower ourselves to say no, to report and to block and to stop believing all these lies.

I got a friend request on fb from a guy who had an Arab sounding name.i accepted his request and soon after he started getting personal in his messages, saying he was looking for a relationship. Claimed his wife and child had been killed in a plane crash and that he was lonely. I told him In the course of conversations, that I was a widow,and I had a 25 yr. Old daughter who lived with me. He was telling me he Loved me and he wanted us to get to know eachother better and that it might lead to marriage! He sent me pictures, a lot of them! Some with him in his underwear! I didn't react to any of those, except to say that I was at a loss for words! He would also call on fb messenger, A lot! He had a thick accent and when I asked him what nationality he was, he said he was Brazillian but it didn't sound like it, more like middle eastern. Everyone kept telling me that I was probably being scammed, and I kind of had the same vibes. When I confronted him about it, he got Angry! I decided to go o Google and start looking up modeling sites. I looked on several, but when I looked at pinterest, almost immediately Tom's pic came up! I couldn't believe it! So I went on his fb messenger, sent him all the info, and a lot of copies of pics he sent me, as well as telling him off! He wrote me back and denied everything, Still claiming that the man in pics was really him. Blocked, Deleted! I want to report to fb on this matter, but I dont know how much good it will do! I guess this goes on quite a lot, but it's never happened to me before! I'm not on fb to look for men, just to talk to family and friends! I'm Angry

DeleteI am so sorry I missed your comment until now. I will check out the info you sent. Unless you have given the scammer really personal information, then you are fine. If you feel scared take what you have to your local police department and report it. Remember you have the power when you know the truth and the scammer cannot get you. Stay strong.

DeleteI was contacted on Instagram by Jake Davelny10, he used TomDeanErsting's photos, he contacted me on What's app with an American telephone number. How can you find out who he is and of course then report him for attempts to extort money?

DeleteI'm curious if its the same man- my mother has been talking to a gentleman named Melvin Green for a few months now. My husband and I finally got one of his pictures and did a reverse image lookup and found the Tom Ernsting profile that the pictures were clearly taken from. He reached out to my mother on LinkedIn initially, and then gave his phone number. We did a reverse phone number search as well and it showed a totally different name as the person it belonged to. THANK YOU for raising awareness to this fake profile- this blog post helped us confirm our suspicions even further!

DeleteI met someone online by the name of James Blanchard telling me he was 67 years old, I spoke to him on the phone several times, having a French accent. Told me he was coming to CT by Thanksgiving and would marry me and buy a house where he , his daughter and I would live. I got several of these photos of Tom Ernsting who is a gorgeous looking man. I’m sad because I believed him for nearly 2 years. I even received money from him. He is a disappointment to say the least.

The man claimed to be named Harron Smith also from the California Bay Area but said he lived in North Carolina and was building and Construction project manager. He also tried to contact me on Instagram and the WhatsApp with an I love you right off the bat comment. I don't believe the scammer knew any information about the actual Tom Ernsting as I would throw out random questions that be couldn't/wouldn't or give the wrong answer. I do hope that something can be done about this as I'm sure the real Tom Ernsting is a wonderful and geuine person who doesn't deserve this.
