Dr Chris Whaley is an American family man who has had his images used for a long time to make fake accounts on Instagram and other online platforms. You will see from the screenshot below that Dr Whaley is very well aware of the problem and is working with Police Enforcement in his local town to try to combat it. Please do not approach the real man. He is scammed so many more times than you are and does not need the stress and hassle of you getting in touch with him and getting angry. It is not his fault that you have been scammed.
So for the record, if you are approached by any account online that uses this man's images you can be sure that you are being approached by a fake who is looking to scam you.
Please block and report any accounts and do as he asks you in this screenshot above - report the accounts to the Roane State Police.
