Fake accounts using Thomas Lindegaard Madsen

Wednesday 26 September 2018

Captain Thomas Lindegaard Madsen  is the man with one of the most stolen faces on social media.  Click on his name to find out more about the real man and see more images of him.  Be sure that if you are being messaged by an account using his images that you are being messaged by a fake.  Captain Madsen is openly gay and is married to his partner.  Click the link to see more information.

What follows now are screenshots of fake Instagram profiles that are using his photos.  These are all accounts that are manned by scammers.  There are millions of them out there and there are more listed on the page about him. I hope this will give you the confidence to report, block and ignore any accounts using these images that message you.

And the next fake account is this one

This is definitely another fake account operated by scammers.  The real guy in the pictures has the genuine Instagram account @drfernandoneuro  not @dr.fernandopinto used in the above photo.

This guy had been chatting with me on and off for a few days and then went missing for a week.  He obviously had more productive fish to fry or, rather, more easily scammed women to talk to.  When he deigned to talk to me again I decided to call him out and then report and block.

And the first fake account today is this one adamsaustinwils

I am sorry I don't have a screenshot of the profile page from Instagram but you can see on the thumbnail picture that this is a fake account using the images of Dr Fernando Gomes Pinto  Please click on his name to take you to a page to see images of the real guy.

There is no need for more than this screenshot because the real guy is a Brazilian neuroscientist from Brazil and does not come from Turkey, is not called Adam Austin Wilson (a very Turkish name right?) and is not working as a military doctor.  The real guy is happily married still and is not widowed in tragic circumstances.

Fake account using Dr Fernando Gomes Pinto

Wednesday 26 September 2018

If you need proof that scamming on Instagram is a humungous problem then you need to see just how many scammers are creating fake accounts using the images of Dr Fernando Gomes Pinto  There are hundreds of thousands of fake accounts out there on Instagram and other online platforms.  Be sure that if you are approached by any of them they are fake and if you want to see more images of the guy so you can recognise him in the future then please click on the name above to take you to the page about him on this blog.

The screenshots that follow are all accounts that have been seen so far that I have screenshots for.  The page in the above link has a list of other accounts seen and reported on Instagram.  It is by no means an exhaustive list.

And the next fake account is this one

I didn't go very far at talking with this one because I already knew that it was a fake account operated by a scammer.  My last blog post is about another account using the same man's images.  The real man here is Greg Philips   Click on his name to take you to a blog post and more photos of the real guy.

The screenshots here from the conversation I had with this faker are nothing special.  I reported and blocked him soon after this.  I have included them here so you can read the conversation and the scammers messages so that you can get a feel for the way they write and the words they use.

And the next scammer for today is this one

And here is a definite fake account.  We have seen this man's images used time and time again.  The real guy here is a man called   Greg Phillips Click on his name and it will take you to the blog post about the real guy and more pictures of him.

I am sure from the single screenshot here you can also tell that the account is fake.  He was reported and blocked after just this little bit of conversation.

And the first scammer for today is this one

The above are two photos that he sent of himself to me.  I have also included the screenshots of the conversation that we had.  Now I need to clarify here that this scammer didn't actually ask me for anything.  You will see that our conversation on Instagram panned out as usual,  he asked all the usual questions and I am sure that his questions, answers and general chit chat are good indicators of what is to come.  He moved the conversation onto Hangouts and he really wasn't interested in what I was saying at all. I couldn't resist asking him the question about him assessing my likelihood of being scammable.  He got reported and blocked immediately.
